Terms of Use for Outgo

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Outgo app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About the App

Outgo is a mobile application that helps you discover local activities, events, and experiences near you. You can browse activity cards, save favourites, and suggest new activities to be added to the platform.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to transmit unsolicited messages, spam, or harmful content.

4. Suggesting an Activity — How It Works

Users cannot publish activities directly. Submitting a suggestion does not create or add an activity to the Outgo platform. Instead, your suggestion enters a private review queue that is accessible only to the Outgo team.

The submission process works as follows:

• In-app form: You enter the name of the activity and tap "Submit". The suggestion is saved to our internal database under a separate pending submissions table — it is not added to the list of published activities visible to other users.
• Via Instagram or email: You can also message us on Instagram or send an email using the pre-filled template provided in the app. This gives you the opportunity to share more details (description, address, price, opening hours, links, and photos).

After receiving a suggestion, the Outgo team:

• Reviews the submission for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with our content standards.
• May contact you for additional information if needed.
• Decides whether to publish, modify, or decline the suggestion at its sole discretion.
• Manually adds approved activities to the published database.

A "Success" confirmation shown in the app means only that your suggestion was received, not that it will be published. We do not guarantee any timeline for review or a response.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

• The information is accurate and does not infringe any third-party rights.
• The content does not contain offensive, misleading, harmful, or illegal material.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, edit, publish, or decline the submission at our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to refuse or remove any submitted content without notice.

5. Location Data

The App may request access to your device's location in order to show activities near you. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. The App will continue to function using a default area if location access is not granted.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may include links to third-party websites or services (such as activity venues, booking platforms, or maps). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party services. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

The App may display advertisements provided by third parties (e.g. Google). These providers may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can control ad tracking in your device settings.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in the App that are created by us remain our property or the property of our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The App and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• Activity listings are complete, accurate, or up to date.
• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
• Any venue or event listed in the App will be open or available.

Always verify details directly with the venue or organiser before visiting.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data or personal injury resulting from reliance on information in the App.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ukraine, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
