Privacy Policy for Outgo
Last updated: March 2025
1. Introduction
Outgo ("we") operates the Outgo app. This policy describes what data the app may collect and how it is used.
2. Data the app may collect or use
- Location: The app asks for your location to show activities and events near you and to display distances. Location is used on your device and may be sent to our servers only to fetch nearby activities. You can deny location access; the app will still work with a default area.
- Usage and analytics: We may collect anonymous usage events (e.g. actions in the app, such as opening a detail or opening a link) to improve the app and understand how it is used. This data is not used to identify you personally.
- Advertising: The app may show ads (e.g. via Google). Ad providers may collect device or usage data for ad delivery and measurement. You can control ad tracking in your device settings. Our use of data for advertising is described in App Store Connect App Privacy and in the app’s tracking prompt, if shown.
- Saved activities: Lists of activities you save are stored on your device. We do not upload your saved list to our servers as part of your identity.
3. Data we do not collect
We do not require an account to use the app. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you contact us (e.g. by email) and you provide them.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g. hosting, analytics, ad networks) only as needed to run the app and as described in this policy or in the app.
5. Your rights and choices
You can turn off location access in your device settings. You can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy (or equivalent). If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, objection). Contact us to exercise them.
6. Contact
For privacy questions or requests: app.outgo@gmail.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
